Volunteers are an integral part of our community here at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, providing assistance in a wide range of settings. From helping to ensure patients are met with a friendly face, offering support in our Baby Beat shop and Rosemere Cancer Foundation Café, helping our Chaplaincy team, dedicating time to our Dementia patients, and we even have our amazing volunteer therapy dogs who always bring smiles to the faces of staff and patients alike! 

 

Every volunteer helps to offer vital support which helps ensure patients and visitors receive the best possible experience at our hospitals and services. There are over 380 volunteers registered across our trust and we are forever grateful for the generosity, kindness and passion they offer to our hospital community.
