Here at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity, we are dedicated to making a difference to the thousands of patients treated at our hospitals every year.
Our aim is to enhance the services already provided by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, so that patients treated at our hospitals have access to the best possible care, in the very best facilities.
Your donations help us go above and beyond the scope of the NHS by making a difference in four key areas:
- Funding projects such as patient services and comforts
- Funding specialist equipment
- Supporting patients needs and staff welfare
- Supporting the advancement of clinical research

Research
We support innovative research into the cause, treatment and prevention of diseases to save lives and improve patient care.
Support
We enhance the overall experience for patients, their families and staff by improving environments and providing additional comforts.
Equipment
We fund state-of-the-art equipment that provides patients with the best diagnoses and treatments.
Training
We provide health education for patients and their families. We help staff become leaders in their field through specialist training, development and support.
