Give A Gift This Christmas
Spending the festive season in hospital is something we all hope to avoid.
However not everyone is so lucky and many people, from young to elderly, will find themselves in hospital over the Christmas period. That’s why Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity wants to ensure all patients who are in hospital on Christmas Day receive a small gift, bringing a smile to their faces.
Once again, our Charity team are appealing to local companies and community groups to organise gift collection points to encourage people to donate presents for our patients.
And this year, we’re trying something new! With a kind donation of a bus from Stagecoach on Monday 18th December, our charity team will be visiting workplaces, businesses and schools who want to support our Christmas Give a Gift campaign. Over the day we will be picking up donations, thanking our wonderful supporters, and spreading lots of festive fun!
The charity will then work alongside clinical colleagues to ensure that suitable presents are allocated for each ward across Royal Preston and Chorley and South Ribble Hospital.
If your company would like to get involved we would love to hear from you! Please contact our Fundraiser Lucy Clark on email@example.com.
A huge thank you to AMP EV Vehicle Charging Solutions who have kindly sponsored this campaign.
Alternatively, we would be thrilled if our supporters would give a small donation of just £5.00 to help fund a gift and raise a smile. From children to the elderly, why not help us put a smile on their faces this Christmas?
We would be extremely grateful for any support and we hope that receiving a small gift would give our patients a Christmas Day boost until they can return home to their families, where they belong.
