Choir on song for Children’s Appeal

Bamber Bridge’s Singing 4 U Choir

Shoppers at Deepdale’s Sainsbury’s supermarket found themselves being serenaded in the aisles by members of Bamber Bridge’s Singing 4 U Choir, a group that sings to raise funds for local charities.

This time they were raising their voices for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s Children’s Appeal with store customers showing their appreciation by adding £236.86 to their collection buckets.

The appeal, which is being run by the trust’s charity team, is raising £1 million to buy a range of equipment to make children’s in and out-patients at both the Royal Preston and Chorley and South Ribble Hospitals, as well as other local centres managed by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, better and more comfortable for young patients, parents and carers.
